Terms and Conditions for ordering Flavors:
Parasol Flavors sincerely appreciates all of our customers and we attempt to provide the best customer service to all of our customers for every order. But, since we have endured significant increases in occurances of customers requesting to return flavors after receipt and incorrect or missing shipping details due to no fault of Parasol Flavors, we have incurred significant losses and we find it necessary to clarify and explain our policies:
The FDA Code of Federal Regulations require manufacturers and distributors of food based products to maintain control over the safety and integrity of the products that are sold to consumers. It is due to these regulations that any flavoring product that is sold to consumers by Parasol Flavors cannot be returned. Once the product has left our control and/or the facility, the integrity of the product cannot be guaranteed and thus cannot be returned to Parasol Flavors for credit or replacement. Therefore, once an order is placed and the flavors have left our control, the sale is complete and final, and refunds and returns will not be accepted or processed. All costs for such products are still owed to Parasol Flavors. Any product that is returned to Parasol Flavors, even though Parasol Flavors cannot accept any returns of the flavors, will be disposed of in accordance with local, state and federal guidelines. Parasol Flavors apologizes for these policies, but the FDA, not Parasol Flavors requires these procedures.
It is IMPERATIVE that all shipping information provided to Parasol Flavors is correct. We ship via UPS and any undeliverable package due to UPS's inability to deliver the package to the address provided to Parasol Flavors will incur additional fees to the customer. These fees are not fees derived from Parasol Flavors, these are fees that are billed to Parasol Flavors by UPS. Currently, an address correction fee is billed at $18.00 per package (box) by UPS to Parasol Flavors which means that if UPS is unable to deliver a package due to an incorrect street address, incorrect street name, missing apartment number, etc., as well as other issues identified by UPS then a bill due to the customer of $18.00 per package (box) from Parasol Flavors must be paid before UPS will deliver the packages. If the customer refuses to pay the address correction fee within 48 hours of the package(s) having the incorrect address and the customer being notified via phone and/or email then UPS will contact Parasol Flavors for disposition for either the address correction or return of the packages. Parasol Flavors requires a current and working phone number and email address for all orders so that a customer can be contacted if an issue with the order arises and Parasol Flavors will contact the customer via email and/or phone and leave a message with the customer about the issue. These actions will be considered effective notice in regards to the notification requirement. Since UPS will bill Parasol Flavors for the return shipping of the package(s), once Parasol Flavors receives the cost of the return shipping, then Parasol Flavors will exercise its right to recover these costs, plus the costs of the product from the customer. The flavors that are returned must be disposed of and therefore these costs are recoverable from the customer.
Since supplies are not covered by the FDA Code of Federal Regulations, supplies that are returned to Parasol Flavors, with prior approval of Parasol Flavors, at the sole discretion of Parasol Flavors, may, in ceratin cases, be accepted back by Parasol Flavors for credit. This decision is the sole decision of Parasol Flavors.
It is imperative that all shipping addresses are correct and it is understood by you, the customer, that all costs of the product as well as additional expenses incurred by Parasol Flavors due to incorrect addresses are owed by you, the customer, to Parasol Flavors.
